Transformers Dark of the Moon didn't even have a holiday weekend going for it overseas. Nevertheless, the film bulldozed the foreign box office with an extraordinary $210 million in ticket sales for five days. Paramount International said the film opened at No. 1 in all but one of those markets and collected 70 percent of its take from 3D venues. The opening far surpassed Paramount's previous record for an overseas opening over five days, the $147 million earned in 2008 by Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Nevertheless, it is only the second-highest debut of the year. Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Times holds this year's record with $260.4 million, also over five days. (Disney said on Sunday that Pirates crossed the $1 billion mark in worldwide sales this weekend.)
