Shahid wants to act with Dad Pankaj Kapur

Shahid Kapoor has finally completed shooting for his father's directorial debut Mausam. The actor was involved in the making of this film since the last two years, during which he completely concentrated on Mausam. He is very much impressed with his Father's sense about films. The actor has revealed that to work in his dad’s direction was his dream and after that only he has realized expertise of his father.

Shahid is known for his acting skills and is believed to put his heart in the role he plays. His father made him put a lot more efforts than he has ever done for any of his projects so far. Pankaj Kapoor has set his son to play his younger self when he used to live in Punjab.

Shahid says, "Dad has a way of acting and showing how he wants a scene done. Initially, I found it very intimidating. The first few da

ys were very tough for me. But somewhere we found a comfort level and I can say that the making of this film helped us develop a whole new relationship”.

One being questioned, for being treated differently because he is a star kid, the actor said, "Well, yes. I have worked with loads of directors but have never been given a hint that I gave a crappy shot! Often dad would make me do several retakes and do the scene exactly how he wanted it. So, I had to work that much harder”.

After working under his direction, Shasha is aiming at sharing screen space with him. Hope his wish stands true soon!
