Deepika gets a call from Rajinikanth
Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth is putting an end to the speculations about his much anticipated film Rana being shelved. To dispel such notions, Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush has already been making statements that the film will indeed be made. Moreover, Rajinikanth himself has been calling up people to reassure them of his commitment. In fact Rajini personally had called Deepika Padukone the leading lady of Rana. He asked her to make some changes in her schedule to commence the shoot.

According to the reorts, the Rajinikanth spoke to Deepika about resuming the film’s shoot by September 2011.

In response, Deepika expressed her well wishes towards Rajinikanth and assured him that she would take out time for Rana when needed.


The superstar has been recuperating abroad due to his ill health few days ago. Rajini got discharged from Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore last month; the superstar has been calling his friends and colleagues from abroad.

Rajini had earlier promised that he will finish Rana and now he is calling people to reassure them of his commitment.   

Director Shankar (director of Endhiran), K S Ravikumar (director of Rana) and Vairamuthu (lyricist of Rana) have already received calls from the superstar.
