In an interaction with the vernacular press regarding the promotion of BBUDDAH...HOGA TERRA BAAP, Sonu Sood, when queried about his role in the film took the fourth estate by surprise when he compared his role of a police officer to the iconic one essayed by the superstar of the millennium, Amitabh Bachchan in his first hit, ZANJEER.
Our readers know that ZANJEER was the film that saw the emergence of his still popular angry young man image, and co-incidentally it's that very image that Amitabh is taking forward in BBUDDAH...HOGA TERRA BAAP. Sonu explaining his role further said that he essays the role of Karan, a police inspector and Amitabh Bachchan's son. He had the press visibly excited when he revealed that there is a scene in BBUDDAH which is quite similar to the iconic confrontation scene between Amitabh Bachchan and Pran in BBUDDAH, and it features him and Amitabh and when he was required to raise his voice against the thespian which he found very challenging indeed.
Certainly, all these revelations by Sonu are making his countless fans more and more excited and eager to check out their original angry 'old' but young at heart and still handsome actor, Amitabh Bachchan, when the film releases worldwide on July 1st.
