The success of “Ready” must have given a reason to Salman Khan and the entire team of the film to host a lavish bash but it seems they won’t be able to go for it soon!
It’s hardly a week that the film has gained its position at the box-office and buzz is making round that it will have to confront a legal battle. Some of the sources from town have reported that the much appreciated song ‘Character Dheela’ is the actual reason behind the newly arrived trouble.
Though Sallu’s fan must have loved his ‘Character Dheela’ but the use of the word ‘Raas Leela’ in the lyrics has irked the law. It has been stated that the Allahabad High Court has issued notices to Salman Khan and Anees Bazmee after receiving a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the song ‘Character Dheela’ in the film.
This PIL has been filed by the chairman and the general secretary of the Hindu Personal Law Board. They have strongly rejected the very use of the word ‘Raas Leela’ in the song pertaining to its religious link with Lord Krishna. They have even alleged that the lyrics of the song are offensive to the Sanatan Dharma. PIL is seeking an annulment of the certification of “Ready” along with a stay on the exhibition of the film.
Seems this is gonna be a big time trouble for Sallu and the film. Let’s see how he tackles this one!
