Sanjay Dutt's 'Munnabhai' on his way to Amerika

‘Munna Bhai Chale Amerika’ is the third film of the Munna Bhai series (after Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and Lage Raho Munna Bhai) all of which follow the comic adventures of Munna Bhai or Murli Prasad Sharma (Sanjay Dutt) and his sidekick, Circuit or Cirkeshwar (Arshad Warsi).

Earlier, it came in the news that ‘Munna Bhai Chale Amerika’ was shelved as a thematically similar film ‘My Name Is Khan’ (starring Shahrukh Khan in the lead) was released around the same time.

Reports now say that Munnabhai is gearing to move on with his adventures. The same was confirmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the creator of Munna Bhai, who said that he is working on the script for the third film in the series.

According to sources, the film is likely to be launched in February next year with once again Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in the lead roles while the female lead is yet to be decided.
