Lawyers: 'Britney Spears Not Competent To Testify In Perfume Case'

Britney Spears' lawyers have determined the pop star is not legally competent to testify in court over a perfume deal dispute.

Bosses at Brand Sense Partners are suing the singer for $10 million (£6.25 million), claiming she double-crossed them by trying to cut them out of a lucrative deal with Elizabeth Arden.

They want Spears to take the stand in court, but her legal team insists she is not competent enough to be deposed.

Brand Sense Partners bosses have asked the judge in the case to order Spears to sit for the deposition, according to Tmz.com.
