'Harry Potter' saga comes to an emotional end

The record-breaking cinema franchise of Harry Potter may have come to an end but some “muggles” are making sure it goes out with a bang. Thousands of fans braved rain and battled security restrictions in London's Trafalgar Square on Thursday to say farewell to the Harry Potter at the world premiere of the final movie in the record-breaking series. Though emotional at the end of the Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint put a fans and media, as they got together to bid a final goodbye to the beloved wizard series.

Emma Watson, who looked resplendent in a gray Oscar de la Renta ensemble, stole the spotlight at the event. But she couldn't hold back her tears as she listened to Radcliffe and Grint reminisce about their time as Harry and Ron during speeches. She was seen being hugged and comforted by David Heyman.

On the other hand, Daniel Radcliffe was his usual modest self," I don't think the end of the story happens tonight because each and every person who will see this film will carry this story with them through the rest of their lives. A huge thank you to all of you, first of all for giving me a job... Every opportunity I get from now on all goes down to the fact I got very, very lucky when I was 11," reports contactmusic.com.

Though Emma applauded Harry for being the perfect Harry, "You didn't 'get lucky - you were, and are, the perfect Harry, and will be forever."

Author of the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling, who attended the premiere in a beautiful green gown, got emotional and thanked fans for be

ing so devoted to the series, "Thank you for queuing up for the books for all those years, for camping out in a wet Trafalgar Square."

The star-studded premeire was attended by Director Guy Ritchie, Editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, actor Bonnie Wright, Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes were some of the celebs who graced the red carpet.
