Gaga Offers To Record Cher Remix

Lady Gaga has reached out to pop superstar Cher to discuss the possibility of recording a duet.
The Believe hitmaker is working on tracks for her new album and told her Twitter.com fans of her joy on Thursday (14Jul11) after learning that Gaga and producer Red One had co-written a song for her, titled The Greatest Thing.
She tweeted, "Just walked in from studio... Finished 1st track on new cd &........'Gaga' 'You Are The Greatest Thing To Me '
"It's not a duet! Who knows? One can wish! It's one of her songs & she & Redone gave it to me 4 (sic) my cd! I would love (a) duet with GaGa, but she gave me (a) Great song & I'm beyond grateful!!!! It's called 'The Greatest Thing'.
"Great Song! Mayb (sic) if I ace it, She'll Think 'Yeah' I Might Want to Sing w/that Ole (sic) Chick that Held My Meat purse !"
Gaga read the tweets herself and immediately replied to Cher, suggesting the two gay icons team up for a remix.
She writes, "@cher maybe a remix duet for the gays? You truly are 'the greatest thing to me.'"
The pair struck up a friendship at the 2010 Mtv Video Music Awards, when Gaga asked presenter Cher to hold her famous 'meat purse' as she collected the Video of the Year honour for her hit Bad Romance.
