Christian Slater joins Sylvester Stallone thriller

Three more actors have joined the cast of director Walter Hill's untitled action thriller, which stars Sylvester Stallone as a New Orleans hitman.

According to Variety, True Romance star Christian Slater, former Lost regular Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaj and Lights Out actor Holt McCallany have all signed up for the film.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje, best known as fan-favourite character Mr Eko on the popular Fox sci-fi series, will play the film's primary villain, a powerful lawyer who begins exploiting neighborhoods that have been damaged by Hurricane Katrina.

Slater will play a local handler who acts as the film's middl
e man, while McCallany has been cast as a dirty cop.

The film's plot sees Stallone's hitman forced to team up with a local police officer, played by Sung Kang, to track down their partner's killer.

Hung star Thomas Jane was originally cast in Kang's role, but has since revealed that he was fired because producers wanted a more "ethnic" actor.

The currently-untitled film, previously called Head Shot, is expected sometime in 2012.
