There was a lot of talk of how Rahul Khanna would be featured in a never-before-seen avatar in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 2 directed by Sajid Khan. However as luck would have it, Rahul has had to opt out of the project due to date issues and has been replaced by Shreyas Talpade.
Housefull 2, which features 18 actors including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Chunky Pandey etc, begins shooting in London from June.
Rahul was looking forward to this fun film but his dates couldn’t be adjusted with that of the other actors and hence he had no choice but to opt out. Shreyas, who has excelled in comic roles in films like Apna Sapna Money Money, Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3, will now join the cast of this eagerly awaited sequel.
